A project in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where I was invited by a former colleague to contribute, as a project manager. Company was on a reorganization route, and I stepped in to take responsibilities.

Pretty solid experience, I’ve got to once again do international project management, travel 5.100 km away from my hometown, take on site measurements, do part of interior design work, FF&E, shop drawings, and so on. All in all, everything that I was made to do. I wish I could end this on a more positive note, but our cooperation ended due to lack of liquidity & cashflow, so we parted, no point in working for free, right?

This project was two parted, A hospital on one side, for some sort of bone marrow tuberculosis treatment, and a hotel that accompanies stay for patients & their parents. We delivered both nonetheless, with each building having interior wall cladding, furniture pieces, and all sorts of different elements that follow this typology of projects.
